I’m Jess - a seamstress, mum of two, and the founder of Thimble and Fabric. I started this business in 2020 after discovering just how powerful embroidery could be for mental health. During the first lockdown, stitching became my escape - a way to slow down, switch off, and create something beautiful. I knew I wasn’t alone in needing that kind of mindful break, so I set out to design craft kits that make creativity easy, even for complete beginners.​

 

Since then, Thimble and Fabric has grown into a trusted brand, helping thousands of people around the world rediscover their creative side. My kits have been stocked in Battersea Power Station, RHS Wisley and Bridgewater, and Bluewater Shopping Centre, and featured in Love Embroidery and Sew Magazine. With over 600 five-star reviews, I take pride in offering high-quality, beginner-friendly craft kits that give you a true moment of calm.
